MOHALI, India (Reuters) – India won the toss and chose to bowl first in the fourth one-day international against Australia on Monday.
Explosive opener Virender Sehwag was cleared to play in the day/night game after passing a fitness test although Gautam Gambhir has been ruled out with an injury.
Both suffered injuries during the third game of the seven-match series in New Delhi on Saturday which the hosts won by six wickets to go 2-1 up in the series.
Sehwag was struck on his left foot by a Peter Siddle yorker and Gambhir was hit below the ear by a pull shot from Ricky Ponting. Virat Kohli takes Gambhir's place in the eleven.
Top-ranked Australia, struggling with a series of injuries to leading players, made one change with opener Shaun Marsh returning in place of Adam Voges.
