MUMBAI (Reuters) - India's main stock index extended gains to 5 percent on Tuesday, led by Reliance Industries, on hopes of increased fund inflows after the regulator said it would speed up clearance for foreigners keen to invest in India.At 2:43 p.m., the benchmark 30-share BSE index was up 5.17 percent, or 909.89 points, at 18,523.88, with 26 components rising.
The broader 50-issue NSE index rose 5.6 percent to 5,474.25.
