MUMBAI (Reuters) - Men's luxury magazine, GQ, will launch later this year in India, Conde Nast International said in a statement on Monday.GQ's launch follows the success of Conde Nast's first title in the country, Vogue India, which hit stands last September, Jonathan Newhouse, Chairman of Conde Nast International was quoted as saying.
"There is a huge vacuum in the men's luxury magazine space: we have been inundated by requests from advertisers and readers to launch GQ in India," Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director, Conde Nast India said.
The 50-year old title, which now has 13 editions, will tap India's expanding luxury market, the statement said.
International men's magazines already in India include Maxim, FHM and Men's Health.
