Conde Nast's GQ to launch later this year in India

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Men's luxury magazine, GQ, will launch later this year in , Conde Nast International said in a statement on Monday.

GQ's launch follows the success of Conde Nast's first title in the country, , which hit stands last September, Jonathan Newhouse, Chairman of Conde Nast International was quoted as saying.

"There is a huge vacuum in the men's luxury magazine space: we have been inundated by requests from advertisers and readers to launch GQ in India," Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director, Conde Nast India said.

The 50-year old title, which now has 13 editions, will tap India's expanding luxury market, the statement said.

International men's magazines already in India include Maxim, FHM and Men's Health.
